Older eufy Systems We Still Set Up and Move
Updated
eufy's UK store no longer sells the eufyCam 2 family, the eufyCam 3, the E330 Professional, the 2K Wired doorbells or the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro, but the kit is still in use. This guide matches names to model codes and shows which HomeBase each needs.
In short
Yes, a JACK pro in London still sets up, refits and moves older eufy systems you own, such as the eufyCam 2 family on HomeBase 2, the eufyCam 3 (S330) and E330 Professional on HomeBase 3, the 2K Wired doorbells and the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro. The limits are eufy's: its older wired doorbells (T8200 to T8203) and the Floodlight Cam 1080p (T8420) do not work with HomeBase 3, and newer devices need a minimum HomeBase 3 firmware. A house move mainly means re-siting the HomeBase by the new router and re-testing each camera position.

Which older eufy system do you have?
eufy prints a T-number on each device and its box, and that code settles names eufy has reused:
- eufyCam 2 (T8114), 2C (T8113), 2 Pro (T8140), 2C Pro (T8142) and eufyCam E (T8112): battery cameras made for HomeBase 2; the 2C was later sold as the eufyCam S210
- eufyCam 3 (T8160), later sold as the eufyCam S330, and eufyCam 3C (T8161), the S300: cameras that came with HomeBase 3
- eufyCam E330 Professional (T8600): a 4K camera on a plug-in mains adapter, made for HomeBase 3
- Video Doorbell 2K Wired (T8200), 1080p Wired (T8201), 2K Pro Wired (T8202) and Dual 2K Wired (T8203)
- Floodlight Cam 2 Pro (T8423), for which eufy's UK store still sells accessories under the name Floodlight Cam S330
Several eufy products carry 'S330' in their names: the eufyCam 3, the Video Doorbell S330 in wired (T8203) and battery (T8213) versions, the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro and the current 4G LTE Cam S330. The T-number tells them apart.
Can older eufy kit move to a HomeBase 3?
Often, but eufy's HomeBase 3 compatibility list draws some hard lines:
- Not compatible: the older wired doorbells T8200 to T8203, the Floodlight Cam 1080p (T8420) and the 4G Starlight camera (T8150)
- Storage only: the Floodlight Cam 2K (T8422 and T8424) records to HomeBase 3 without BionicMind face recognition, and for the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro (listed as Floodlight Cam 2K Pro, T8423) eufy lists BionicMind as under evaluation
- Fully compatible: the eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro, 2C Pro, eufyCam E and original eufyCam are listed as compatible for both storage and BionicMind, so they can move across from a HomeBase 2
- The current S4 Wired Video Doorbell does work with a HomeBase S380, so the limit applies to the older wired codes only
Moving a camera means removing it from the old HomeBase in the app and syncing it to the new one, held close while it syncs. Save any clips you want to keep from the old HomeBase first.
Newer eufy devices need an up-to-date HomeBase 3
eufy's UK pages for newer devices set a minimum HomeBase 3 (S380) firmware, so the pro brings the HomeBase's firmware up to date first:
- Video Doorbell E340, SoloCam S340, Floodlight Camera E340 and Indoor Cam S350: V3.3.2.6 or later
- eufyCam S4: V3.7.2.8 or later, without which its 24/7 recording and snapshots do not work
- A HomeBase 2 cannot take the newer cameras: eufy lists the eufyCam S3 Pro, eufyCam S4, C35 and C37 as not supporting it, though the S4 also runs with no HomeBase at all
A HomeBase 2 or 3 system can instead move to a eufy NVR through eufy's Wi-Fi Module (NVR firmware V1.3.1.8 or later), though only 4 of its up to 16 Wi-Fi cameras can stream continuously.
What power do older eufy doorbells and floodlights need?
These matter whenever one is moved, refitted or replaced:
- The 2K Wired, 1080p Wired, 2K Pro Wired and Dual 2K Wired doorbells need 16–24 VAC at 30 VA or more
- eufy put a power adapter in the UK box of the 2K Wired doorbell, along with a plug-in chime
- These doorbells record to their own storage: 4 GB on the 2K and 1080p Wired, 32 GB on the 2K Pro and 8 GB on the Dual 2K
- Floodlight Cam 2 Pro: hardwired only at 110–240 V, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, 8 GB of storage that cannot be expanded, mounted no higher than 3 m and tilted no more than 30°
eufy's FAQ says the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro's packaging for EU users contains a junction box. In England, refitting it where an outside light was, on that light's own circuit, is non-notifiable, and the work is recorded on a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate.
How does a eufy system move to a new London home?
eufy kit moves well, because most of it sits on a bracket rather than being wired in:
- At the old address: devices taken down, holes filled, and any bypassed chime wired back in, ideally from a photo of its original wiring
- At the new address: the HomeBase sited first, by the new router on Ethernet, standing on a shelf rather than fixed to a wall
- HomeBase cameras pair with the HomeBase rather than your router, so the new router mainly affects the HomeBase; standalone cameras and doorbells join the new Wi-Fi one by one
- Each camera position re-tested against eufy's range before drilling, and a wired doorbell checked against the new home's bell transformer
Older kit is priced from its model codes and photos
An older-system job is priced from what is on the wall now and where it is going, as a fixed price in the JACK app before you book. This is a London-only service. Send:
- The T-number from each device or its box, or the name the eufy app shows
- A photo of each device on the wall, and of the HomeBase and where it sits
- For a wired doorbell, the bell transformer's label and the chime it rings
- If the system is moving, the new home's layout: where the router is and where each camera should go
The devices are already yours, and JACK sells none. If the job needs a replacement bracket, transformer or HomeBase, it is agreed with you and added at cost before you book.

Taken from eufy's HomeBase 3 compatibility list and its support articles on 31 October 2026.
| Older eufy device (code) | Hub it was sold with | With a HomeBase 3 (S380) |
|---|---|---|
| eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro, 2C Pro and eufyCam E (T8114, T8113, T8140, T8142, T8112) | HomeBase 2 | Compatible for storage and BionicMind |
| eufyCam 3 / S330 (T8160) and eufyCam 3C / S300 (T8161) | HomeBase 3, in the box | Made for it |
| eufyCam E330 Professional (T8600) | HomeBase 3, required | Made for it: up to 10 cameras, Multi-Bridge needed above 4, and an extra drive for 24/7 recording |
| Wired doorbells: 2K, 1080p, 2K Pro and Dual 2K (T8200 to T8203) | None: video stays on the doorbell | Not compatible |
| Floodlight Cam 2 Pro, also Floodlight Cam S330 (T8423) | None: 8 GB built in | Storage; BionicMind under evaluation |
| Floodlight Cam 2K (T8422, T8424) | Sold without a HomeBase | Storage only; BionicMind not compatible |
| Floodlight Cam 1080p (T8420) | Sold without a HomeBase | Not compatible; the T8420X version works for storage |
| 4G Starlight (T8150) | Sold without a HomeBase; connects over 4G | Not compatible |
eufy updates its compatibility list, so the pro checks the current version against your device codes before anything is moved.
How eufy installation is priced
A vetted pro prices your job from the eufy model, photos of where each device goes and what power is there now, and the JACK app shows you that fixed price before you book.
The power and the walls move the price more than the device does. A battery doorbell on a brick reveal, or a SoloCam on a fence post, is a smaller job. An S4 Wired doorbell on a new transformer, a HomeBase moved to the middle of the house with a hard drive fitted, a Floodlight Camera E340 in place of an outside light, or four PoE cameras cabled through solid brick and a loft all take longer, and the price reflects that.
The eufy kit is yours to buy, since JACK sells no devices. A stronger transformer, a Chime 2, a wedge, a floodlight's weatherproof box or extra Cat cable is agreed with you and added at cost before you book, and several devices go on one booking for one price. Where parking has to be paid for, that is added at cost and agreed before you book too.
Prefer to pay for time? As a guide, smart home work is typically £45–£95 per hour, and electrical work such as a floodlight camera £55–£110 per hour. For a multi-camera system or a PoE NVR, a full-day booking is a flat £350–£400 for up to 8 hours on site.
Frequently asked questions
Will my eufyCam 2 work with a HomeBase 3?
Yes. eufy's HomeBase 3 compatibility list marks the eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro and 2C Pro as compatible for both storage and BionicMind face recognition, so the cameras can be removed from the HomeBase 2 in the app and synced to the new HomeBase. eufy updates that list, so the pro checks it against your model codes first.
Does the eufy 2K Wired doorbell work with HomeBase 3?
No. eufy lists its older wired doorbells, codes T8200 to T8203, as not compatible with HomeBase 3. They record to their own built-in storage instead, so they keep working without a HomeBase.
Is the eufyCam S330 the same as the eufyCam S3 Pro?
No. The eufyCam S330 is the older eufyCam 3 (T8160), and the eufyCam S3 Pro (T8162) is a newer camera. Both use the same hub, the HomeBase S380, which eufy also calls HomeBase 3.
Can you move my eufy cameras to my new house?
Yes, where both homes are in London. A JACK pro takes the system down, fills the old holes, and refits it at the new address, siting the HomeBase by the new router first and re-testing every camera position before drilling.
