eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 Installation in London
Updated
The 4G LTE Cam S330 is eufy's model T86P2. Despite the shared name it is not the eufyCam S330 (the older eufyCam 3) or the Video Doorbell S330, nor the older 4G Starlight Cam S230 (T8150), which eufy lists as not compatible with the HomeBase S380. It is a solar 4K pan-tilt camera that connects over the SIM included with the UK version, or over Wi-Fi when you switch it. A JACK pro in London tests the signal where it is going, fits it and sets it up, for a fixed price shown before you book.
In short
Yes. A Jack All Trades (JACK) pro in London installs the eufy 4G LTE Cam S330, which needs neither wiring nor Wi-Fi: it runs on a solar panel and a 9,400 mAh battery, and the UK version comes with a SIM for mobile data. The pro checks the mobile signal at the spot first; the camera switches between 4G and Wi-Fi only by hand, and works with a HomeBase S380 only in Wi-Fi mode.

How the 4G LTE Cam S330 is powered and mounted
The S330 is built for places your broadband does not reach: a lock-up garage, a garden office at the end of a long plot, a parking space, or a home under renovation before the internet is connected. eufy says the SIM in the UK version works across several major UK networks, and estimates use at about 700 MB of data a month.
Power is self-contained, a solar panel charging a 9,400 mAh battery, and eufy says two hours of solar charging a day in good conditions can keep it running, so the mounting spot needs daylight as well as mobile signal. eufy describes switching between 4G and Wi-Fi as manual, so the camera is set to whichever connection is reliable at the spot, rather than left expecting it to change over by itself.
eufy's corner mount and pole mount both list this camera, and the pole mount takes poles 50–150 mm across, which suits a post by a private drive or gate. A HomeBase S380 can record it only while it is in Wi-Fi mode; on 4G it works without the HomeBase.
What the pro checks first
- The mobile signal at the exact spot, with the camera streaming over its own SIM before anything is fixed
- Whether 4G or Wi-Fi is the steadier connection there, because the switch between them is manual
- Daylight on the panel, which is easy to lose on a garage wall or under a canopy
- What it fixes to: brick, timber cladding, a fence post or a pole 50–150 mm across
- Who owns the wall or post, and whether the view takes in a public road or someone else's land
What the pro does on the 4G LTE Cam S330
- Camera set up in the eufy app and tested on 4G, then on Wi-Fi if there is any at the spot
- Connection mode chosen with you and left on the one that holds up there
- Mount fixed to a wall, a corner or a pole, using eufy's corner or pole mount if you bought one
- Solar panel aimed for the most daylight the spot gets
- Pan, tilt and spotlight checked in live view, and alerts set for the area you care about
- Added to your HomeBase S380 when it runs on Wi-Fi and you have one
How the 4G LTE Cam S330 installation goes
- 1Charge checked and the camera added to your eufy account
- 2Mobile signal tested at the planned spot over the camera's SIM
- 3Fixing chosen for the surface, then the mount fixed in place
- 4Camera mounted and the solar panel positioned
- 54G or Wi-Fi mode set, and the stream checked from your phone
- 6Activity zones and alerts agreed with you, then a walk test
Before you book: what to send
- A photo of the wall, post or pole the camera will go on, and of what it should watch
- Whether there is any Wi-Fi at the spot, or none at all
- Whether you bought eufy's corner or pole mount, and the pole's width if it is a pole
- If the spot is on land or a building you do not own, the owner's agreement
Watching a parking space or a lock-up can bring data protection rules into play
If the S330 watches a parking bay, a garage court or a shared drive, it will often see more than your own property. The gov.uk guidance on domestic CCTV then applies:
- Once a camera records people beyond your property's boundary, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to you as the person in control of it
- gov.uk suggests asking whether you need a camera at all, or whether better lighting would do, and deciding what it should view before it goes up
- Put up a notice and tell the people nearby, and keep footage only as long as you need it
- Recordings are for protecting your property, and gov.uk says not to share them on social media
On a shared drive or a block's car park, the freeholder or managing agent normally has a say before any camera goes up.

Full pricing guide for eufy installationFrequently asked questions
Does the 4G LTE Cam S330 need Wi-Fi?
No. The UK version comes with a SIM that eufy says works with several major UK networks, so it can run with no Wi-Fi at all. It can use Wi-Fi as well, but you switch between the two by hand in the app.
Will the 4G LTE Cam S330 work with my HomeBase S380?
Only in Wi-Fi mode. eufy's HomeBase S380 compatibility list marks this camera as Wi-Fi mode only, so on 4G it runs without the HomeBase. It does not support Apple HomeKit or NAS storage.
How much mobile data does the 4G LTE Cam S330 use?
About 700 MB a month, by eufy's estimate for 10 short live views and 25 ten-second motion recordings a day. Actual use varies with how busy the spot is, so check the SIM's data terms with eufy before you rely on 4G alone.
How much does eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 installation cost in London?
It is a fixed price for your 4G LTE Cam S330, worked out by a vetted pro from the model, a photo of where it is going and what power is there now, and shown in the JACK app before you book. Other devices can go on the same booking for one price. If you would rather pay for time, hourly hire for smart home is typically £45–£95 per hour as a guide.
