West Elm Curtain & Curtain Pole Fitting in London

West Elm sells blackout curtains as well as sheers, and heavier curtains in particular only hang well from a rod fixed securely and level. A vetted JACK pro puts up your curtain rods, poles or tracks and hangs the curtains, for a fixed price you see before you book.

In short

Yes. West Elm's delivery team does not fit curtain hardware, so JACK pros in London put up West Elm curtain rods and poles, fix them level into brick, block or plasterboard and hang the curtains. Every window goes on one booking for one fixed price.

Send a photo of each window that shows the wall above it and the ceiling line, the product link for the rod or pole and the curtains, and how many windows.

Each guide covers how the piece arrives, what the build involves and what to send before booking.

What curtain fitting covers

For West Elm curtains and hardware:

  • Rod or pole brackets fixed level, with plugs that suit brick, block, concrete lintels or plasterboard
  • Brackets spaced for the weight of lined or velvet curtains, with a centre support on wide windows
  • Height set so the curtains just clear the floor, or puddle if that is the look you want
  • Curtains hung, rings or hooks spaced, and tie-backs fitted
  • Every window in the home on one booking

How West Elm assembly is priced

A vetted pro prices your piece from the product link and a photo of the room, and the JACK app shows you that fixed price before you book.

The design moves the price far more than the size. A side table with screw-in legs is a short job. A solid-wood bed with a slatted base, a six-drawer dresser with runners to align, or a sectional sofa whose pieces clip together is a much longer one. Send the product link or a screenshot of the order so the price is for the piece you bought.

Several pieces from one delivery, such as a bed, two nightstands and a dresser, go on one booking for one price. Pieces from other shops can go on the same visit. Where parking has to be paid for, it is added at cost and agreed before you book.

Prefer to pay for the pro's time? Hourly hire works too: as a guide, furniture assembly is typically £35–£75 per hour. For a big delivery, a full-day handyman booking often suits: a flat £350–£400 for up to 8 hours on site.

How it works

Step 1

Share the piece and the room

Paste the West Elm product link or a screenshot of your order (not delivered yet? the link is enough to price from) and add a photo of the room. Mention stairs, a lift or a tight turn on the landing.

Step 2

See the price, pick a slot

A vetted pro prices the build from what you sent. Book once you are happy with the price, choosing a slot after your delivery date; evenings and weekends are available when pros have them.

Step 3

Built, checked, handed over

Parts are counted first, the piece is built and levelled, drawers and doors adjusted, tall pieces anchored and the packaging flattened for recycling. You follow it all in the JACK app.
